Ken Terry is a Mechanical Engineer and an experienced company director. Ken spent his early career with Carrier Air Conditioning and became the Managing Director in Australia after a career in contracting, sales, manufacturing and service, and later moved to Carrier’s headquarters in the US as Vice President Marketing world-wide.  On returning to Australia, Ken was appointed as Managing Director of the Dymocks Group of companies. The Dymocks Group is involved in retail, property and farming. Whilst at Dymocks, Ken moved Dymocks from 5 to 95 stores via a franchising strategy and also created a computer training simulation for the Retail Industry Training Council.
Ken has also worked for United Technologies Corporation of Hartford CT, running Otis Elevators in Australasia and was a member of the Advisory Board to Sussan Corporation before it was disbanded in 2004. He has been strategic adviser to several rural firms, Atlex in Dubbo, IWG in Tamworth, Sefton and Associates in Gunnedah and Wesley Hazell’s apple farming in Tasmania.
Ken was also the Chief Executive Officer of Sheridan, Australia’s leading bed linen brand, having 90 stores in Australia and international operations in New Zealand, UK, and Asia. More recently, Ken was Chairman of Brazin Limited, retailer of the leading brands Sanity, HMV, Virgin Music stores, Bras and Things and Diva.
