Dr Christine Bennett is an experienced company director, with a diverse
background in clinical care, strategic planning, capital raising, commercial
advisory work and executive roles in both public and private health sectors.
Christine is the Dean of Medicine, Sydney at the University of Notre Dame
Australia, and continues to hold non-executive director roles with HeartWare
International, Inc., Bupa, Obesity Australia and as Chair of Research Australia.

Christine has previously held positions as Chief Medical Officer and Director of
Healthcare Leadership for Bupa International Markets, has been a Partner at
KPMG Australia in Health and Life Sciences, Chief Executive Officer of
Westmead Hospital (Sydney), Associate Director in the New South Wales
Department of Health and a was originally a paediatrician. From 2008 - 2009
she was appointed by the Prime Minister of Australia as Chair of the National
Health and Hospitals Reform Commission.

Christine holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (University of Sydney),
Master of Paediatrics (University of NSW) and is a fellow of the Royal
Australasian College of Physicians.
